Russian drones fired 35 times between Sunday night and Monday, according to the Ukrainian Air Force, but those that managed to evade air defenses caused damage to electrical systems and civilian targets.


The Air Force claimed in a statement on Facebook that the self-detonating Shahed-136 and Shahed-131 drones built in Iran were launched from the "eastern edge of the Sea of Azov."

Authorities said that one crucial infrastructure site was hit, but there were no casualties. Emergency services are attempting to mitigate the attack's effects, according to Serhiy Popko, chief of the military administration for the city of Kiev.

Popko stated that the majority of the damage was concentrated in two areas of the capital. Damage was done to a road in the Solomyanskyi area and a drone's parts fell on a residential high-rise in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
