Morocco Starts The Second Half In Search Of An Equalizer

In the bronze medal matchCroatia's Mislav Orsi scored to help the Vatreni defeat Morocco 2-1.

Late in the first half, as Croatia pushed for a second goal, Morocco appeared to have the situation under control, but the Atlas Lions fumbled the ball on the outskirts of the box.

The Croatians then moved the ball to Orsi, who was standing away from the Moroccan defense's primary focus. The attacker executed a stunning chip over goalie Yassine Bounou's head, off the right post, and into the goal. At the conclusion of the first half, Croatia leads Morocco 2-1.

What a soccer half!

Morocco is down 2-1 as the halftime horn sounds.

With Croatia leading Morocco 2-1, the second half of this third-place match is about to begin.

The Vatreni are aiming to keep their advantage on the field as the Atlas Lions try to score after an action-packed first half that saw back-to-back goals in the opening minutes of the game.
This year's World Cup has featured several athletes who combine their supposedly superhuman speed and talents with superhero-like masks. The masks are only there for protection, despite the fact that the coverings can make them look like Batman.

Joko Gvardiol of Croatia, who opened the scoring for his team in today's bronze medal match, has been sporting one because of a nose and eye issue brought on by a head collision when playing for his German club Leipzig.

Son Heung-Min of South Korea was also spotted wearing a black mask over his nose and eyes. During Tottenham's victory against Marseille in the Champions League on Nov. 1, Son sustained a shattered eye socket.

Ellyes Skhiri, a Tunisian who played for FC Koln in Germany in October after breaking his cheekbone, furthermore donned a mask that covered his nose and sides of his face.

In addition, after suffering a head injury against England in Iran's opening group game, Alireza Beiranvand wore a mask during workouts but not during any games. He didn't play against Wales, but he did against the US while wearing no mask.
